Visualization skills for Scrum Masters, Product Owners and Agile Development Teams

Visualization for Agile practitioners

Visualization and agility - a perfect match! Agile practitioners try to develop faster and more flexible products with little bureaucratic effort, a few simple rules and an iterative approach. Business Agility is the new kid on the block and based on a mix of Agile methods and practices, it is currently revolutionizing many companies.

"Visualization for Agile practitioners" is the variant of the basic training for agile teams to communicate better in processes and to find solutions faster.

One of the key features of an Agile culture is that teams work through roles, agreements, content, and processes in a self-directed manner in short meetings. Visualization by hand has already become an elemental tool for many Agile teams.

In tandem with bikablo, Bizzuals has developed a visualization format that is specifically designed to meet the needs of Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Chapter Leads, Agile teams, Agile trainers & - coaches and Agile Managers in agile environments. Visualization skills are helpful, but not required for this training.

You'll learn the basics of bikablo flipchart and pin board visualization techniques, practice agile-specific pictograms and keyframes, and design your posters for kick-offs, daily standup meetings, reviews, retrospectives and so much more ...

In a relaxed learning atmosphere, you will experience how easy it is to use small tricks to make large pin board areas striking and lively. The trainer takes a lot of time to introduce you to the secrets of the bikablo visualization technique and to answer your questions:

  • Holding the pen and drawing the line: How do I draw clean lines and structure my space on the flip chart?

  • Graphics and text containers for the Agile universe: How do I create simple arrows and connecting elements from basic geometric shapes in order to develop simple, content-relevant keyframes to explain roles, meetings and artifacts in an Agile context? Which text containers (e.g. speech bubbles) can be used to support which kinds of messages?

  • Objects and symbols: How do I draw simple Agile symbols to underline messages? What is essential, what can be left out?

  • Figures: What easy ways does bikablo® provide to draw people, roles, groups and situations in an Agile context?

  • Color and space: What are simple and fast options to color elements and spaces in a quick and simple way that supports the graphic structure?

  • Writing: how do I improve my handwriting on the flip chart to make it more legible and attractive?

  • Mobile Elements

  • Real-time recording and mapping techniques in order to facilitate Agile meetings and workshops visually

  • Posters and settings: How do I combine the ingredients (graphics, writing, symbols, figures, and color) to create to-the-point meaningful poster templates for Agile meeting formats (Welcome, Daily agenda, Instructions, Group Work, Product Demo, Retrospectives, ... )?

  • Practical Case: Develop your own visualizations, which you can use immediately in agile practice.

This training is for you if
